Right so with the finger all patched up it’s time to head back on to the water, the weather is closing in and looks like it’s going to be a wet one, but hey I’ve got waterproofs…
So when I get in from work I head back to Whangaumu and paddle back to the wreck to see if I can slay those fish that I didn’t really get chance to fish for yesterday.
I got out there with a bit of wind assist, the rain stayed in the distance, once there the sounder was pretty much a blank, maybe my blood in the water yesterday wasn’t such a good berley…
I drifted around for a couple of hours, and only picked up a couple of small Snapper.
Time to paddle home again, padding home against the steady 10 knot wind, the out going tide, and the rain made for what felt like a long paddle home that’s for sure. Ah well another great sunset to finish the day off…
